Newborn essentials checklist

Basics undergarments

• 4-6 bodysuits- soft cotton all-in-ones to wear underneath coveralls for extra warmth or on their own in warmer weather.
• 10 singlets- the most basic of newborn essentials. Bonds has a large variety of singlets and bodysuits in basic colours and pastels.

Comfort and sleep

• 6 coveralls- soft stretchy coveralls are perfect for sleeping and daywear. Your bub will live in these for the few 3 months at least. Bonds have a fantastic new range for newborns, Newbies as well as the favourite Bonds Wondersuit and Stretchies in fun prints and colours.
• 2-4 nightgowns- Night gowns are very important in the first few days, before the cord falls off. Soft cotton nightgowns mean there are no buttons rubbing against the belly.

Essential outfits

• 3-6 basic outfits – for out about. You’ll most likely be given some lovely baby outfits from family and friends, so we recommend adding some Bonds basics to your wardrobe. Basics are great to mix and match, and are the perfect staples to your bub’s wardrobe. Bonds has a large range of basic tees, leggings, cardigans, Wondersuits, Beanies and socks.
