Sarah Murdoch


British born, Australian-bred Sarah O'Hare made an impressive entry into the modelling industry, landing her first assignment with Australian Harper’s Bazaar.
Before moving permanently to New York in 1992, Sarah spent 12 months in Paris walking the runways for nearly every top designer and appearing in campaigns for Christian Dior and Yves St. Laurent. After arriving in New York the following year, Sarah appeared in campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Estee lauder, and was placed under contract with l’ O’Real. In January 1999, Sarah joined the prestigious Revlon family of spokes models alongside Cindy Crawford, Salma Hayek, Shania Twain, and Halle berry. Sarah also became a favourite of America talk television with appearances on the late show with David Letterman, late night with Conan O’Brien, MTV, VH1 and E entertainment. She also appeared in the infamous sports illustrated annual swimsuit issue, and graced the cover of the Australian edition.
Sarah made her film debut in the 2001 release of universals head over heels alongside Freddie Prinze JR Monica Potter and fellow supermodel Shalom Harlow. 2001 saw the launch of a multiyear deal, as brand ambassador for the Australian icon bonds for its new collections of women's intimate apparel and outerwear , appearing in all major advertising campaigns, and being a key part of the brands ongoing success.
Sarah is patron of both the nation breast cancer foundation of Australia, and the McDonald college foundation for performing arts, ambassador of the Murdoch children research institute, and a member of the board of directors of the Australian ballet.
