Maternity Layer Tank is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated out of 5 by from Maternity Layer Tank Review This style is nice looking - a little less "maternity" than the original Bumps nursing tank, however I was really disappointed when I wore it. The most annoying thing is that it doesn't function well as a nursing top at all. You have to pull the top layer out of the way to access the drop down cups, and it really isn't stretchy enough to stay out of the way while feeding - it ends up cutting into the breast, which is uncomfortable and not great for those of us prone to duct blockages. Agree with the previous comment about lack of coverage too - I prefer not to have my breast pads on show! Would be great if Bonds could rethink this one...

Rated out of 5 by from Maternity Layer Tank Review The Layer tank concept is great, the length is perfect and it's great not to have any hooks poking into your back. However there are some issues with this tank which all surround the layers at the top of the garment...the shoulder straps don't sit flat; the cut around the arm pit is a little too high and with the layers it can cause some rubbing. Also it would be good to have a small amount of padding in the front of the bra as it's not a garment that you would wear a bra with, and its shows off nipple in the cooler months. With my last pregnancy I wore similar feeding singlets 24/7, if these small problems could be addressed this just could be perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maternity Layer Tank Product Review I loved this top!!! I am usually a size 14 top and I ordered XL. its slightly big but it's sooooo comfortable. I didn't find it cut in at all when I pulled down the outer layer to access the drop down cup. From a cup size perspective, I'm normally a 12DD and went up to a 14F whilst breastfeeding and this has been great. it also allows plenty of room for the fluctuating sizes of your breasts whilst they empty and fill up again. It is loose fitting around the tummy which I found very comfortable. Great length too - I am around 174cm. From a modesty perspective, I just wore a loose fitting tee or put a muslin wrap over the top as it does show your whole breast when feeding.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Useful as a sleep tank only I bought two of these in the hope I would have more nursing tanks in my wardrobe. Unfortunately, there's no padding or even a soft cup in the bra portion of this tank. This means either my nipples could be seen through the tank or I'd have to pull out nursing pads from the tank when I want to feed my baby. I'll be returning these for a refund. Considering the RRP of these, I am a little disappointed. Comfortable fit, though, and would be suitable for wear around the house or in bed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfy I purchased the XL in white after disliking the hidden support singlet (it was too tight in the 14DD despite being 14DD in the maternity bra). This is much comfier but is limited in function as despite having two layers, the white top is see-through. Fine for layering under other clothes or wearing at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maternity Layer Tank Product Review I LOVE this top. Pre-pregnancy I was an 8/10 (12B) in tops and I found that while I fit a small, my rib cage has expanded so much, a M (8m pregnant and wearing 14C) was a better size. It is definitely designed for the smaller chested ladies, but that is a rarity in maternity and I really appreciate it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maternity Layer Tank Product Review Based on Sally's review (and being a size 12), I ordered the large. Not impressed at all. It doesn't fit like it does on the model in the image. It's far lower in the front (disappointing). When the bra straps are adjusted to accommodate this, the singlet strap becomes loose (the bra straps runs through the singlet strap to hide the cup clips, which actually makes the cup harder to pull down as you almost have to slip the singlet strap off your shoulder in order to get a boob out. Silly design. The other fault for me is the crop top part (the underneath layer you can see on the model) it is ridiculously small. I am a 12DD-E in cup size and it basically pancakes my chest! If I don't hitch the girls up (and out the top) they almost come out the bottom of the crop top- there's just not enough material to accommodate a LARGE bust. I bought a size LARGE, expecting it to be a comfortable, if not generous, fit for a size 12, but unfortunately not. The only plus is the wider shoulder straps and the comfortable tummy fit and length. The bra part of the design seriously needs a re-think Bonds! I will only be wearing this as a sleep tank (possibly). It probably won't be of use when I give birth and want to nurse as my bust will be far too big, making this tank too uncomfortable. Disappointing as I bought this to nurse in winter. I won't buy again because if I do go a size up (to accommodate bust), the shoulder straps will be looser and so will the body of the tank.
