Currently rocking the nail scene in Melbourne is Chelsea Bagan, the mani magician behind the crazy-popular Trophy Wife Nail Art. Serving the colourful and quirky needs of the nail-obsessed, Chelsea has turned a passionate hobby into a legit business with a book and a string of uber-cool brand collabs behind her. We took her away from buffing and filing for five minutes to answer a few of our burning questions...
How did Trophy Wife Nail Art get started?
It started as a hobby and grew into a full time addiction! I just started playing around with my own nails and eventually got good enough that strangers would ask me to do theirs too.
Which Bonds prints are you taking inspo from?
All of the BONDS100 prints are amazing. I love stripes, but I‘m particularly loving 'Brooklyn Beat' at the moment.
Career highlights so far…
Writing and self-publishing a nail art tutorial book, being featured on The Design Files, working on various editorial campaigns and opening our Melbourne shop front.

I love anything Madeline Poole does; she’s known on the Internet at MPNAILS.
