Another fortnight, another awesome new real person to get acquainted with. We caught up with Melbourne fashion stylist Vanessa Lane otherwise known as Ness to hear about what great things she is doing with herself. Introducing..... Ness Lane Why we love her? Not only is she super talented, lending her amazing eye for style on shoots across loads of Australian fashion labels, we are lucky enough to have her work with us on Bonds shoots!

What are 3 things you couldn’t do without?

The sunshine, op shops and my runners.

What do you love most about what you do?

So many things! I love the creativity, thinking of an idea and then making it happen with the help of a great team. Being able to express myself or a scenario in a shoot is a great feeling. I love the people I work with in Melbourne and the variation between jobs, every day is different!

Who or what do you look to for inspiration?

I am always looking at people and fashion whether I am travelling, online or picking through op shops, markets, movies and magazines.

What do you love about being Australian?

Australians have such a positive view on the world and other people, we seem to work hard and have fun doing it. I love the many subcultures and of course our breakfasts are the best ☺

What’s your number one essential Bonds item?

It has to be my trackies. Those babies have been with me through lots of ups and downs, weekends and road trips. I am also a big fan of my grey marle sloppy Joe!
