We've doubled the babe-ness with Aussie models Elyse Taylor and Sarah Stephens, who star in our new Classics campaign.

As the quintessential Aussie girl, Elyse first joined Bonds to celebrate 10 years of the Hipster. After the birth of her first child, Elyse returned to launch the Hot Shortie as well as Baby Search, with her daughter. With our latest Classics campaign, she continues as the face of Hot Shortie, the undies shape that combines a low-rise waist with a cheeky cut on the butt. Read our Q&A with Elyse below…

What do you love about being Australian?

I LOVE being Australian and everything about the country, from fashion to art, sport and culture… and most of all, I love our unique sense of humour.  No matter what country I’m in, if there are other Aussie’s on set we all just instantly bond and have a good laugh while everyone else just looks at us as if we’re from another planet! I think we're also very generous by nature, which is a rare trait in the big wide world.

Do you get your beau and bub wearing BONDS?

Lila is definitely a big Bonds fan. I don’t reckon you can beat Bonds for babies and toddlers, in terms of style and wear & tear! My mum still sends us Bonds undies every birthday and Christmas… once a mum always a mum.

What do you do to take time out and relax?

I rarely get a spare moment between work and being a mum, but if I had an hour I’d book in a massage.

What’s your favourite thing about BONDS?

Everything… they’re just effortlessly cool. I love the way that each season they come up with a new take on the classics in fun and colourful ways, and they never compromise on quality. They do the best basics from tees to track pants - yes I wear track pants!

What’s your top 3 classic style tips for looking great and feeling comfortable?

Invest in great basic pieces, as they will form the foundation of your wardrobe. Keep it simple and don’t over think your look. Stick with shapes and styles you know compliment your body.

What would you buy BONDS for their 100th birthday?

You were part of the BONDS Intimates campaign in 2013, what was your favourite part of working on this campaign?

It was so great to work with Bonds; they are such an iconic brand. It was really the perfect job to fly home for. The Intimates campaign was very feminine and a little bit sexy - it was lots fun!

What was your favourite piece from the Intimates collection?

The microfiber undies! They are slinky, sexy and comfortable.

How did you get into modelling?

I entered and won the Girlfriend magazine Model Search in 2006, and won a two-year contract with Chic Model Management.

How do you feel being the face of such an iconic Australian brand?

It’s a dream job! I grew up wearing Bonds and they have worked with some amazing Aussie talent.
