Alongside big overseas fashion gigs, this is Kelly’s first major Aussie campaign. Raised in Sweden, she’s one of the most intriguing 19-year-olds you’ll ever meet. Kelly’s father hails from Melbourne and her mother from India, a beautiful cultural mix that makes for a super cool girl.
This is what Kelly had to say to Pages Digital in an interview about her life and working with Bonds...
You have an interesting heritage mix. Can you tell us how you became to be such a bombshell?
My mum is Indian but was adopted to Sweden as a 5-year old. My dad is Australian. Now my family lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. But we’ve stayed in Australia as well.Have you spent much time in Australia?
We go to Australia every second Christmas, and stay with my cousins in Melbourne for 6 weeks every time. All of my dad's family live in Australia so it's great to go back and see everyone.What do you think about Australian style?
Casual, laid-back and chic, I love it!
What’s been your career highlight so far?
Walking the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and now being a campaign girl for BONDS.How do you feel being the new face of Bonds?
I'm so proud and excited to be the new face of Bonds, it's an Iconic Australian brand so my Australian family is very proud of me. Bonds is very “me” , I love the underwear and already had a few pairs before working with them!What’s up next for you?
I'm graduating from high school in 3 weeks and then I will be working as a full-time model based in New York. But I definitely plan on spending some time in Australia as well!!10 years ago
