Photographer and mama, Thui is a pro at the visuals. Her Instagram account is a like a diary of daily life with her beautiful bub, Banksii, who will soon be experiencing her first Christmas. We caught up with Thui to hear all about her family’s preparations for the big day…

“Christmas is just around the corner and we can't wait to see the joy in Banksii's eye unfold when we start putting up the Christmas tree and the lights around the house. A boring house turned festive makes any toddler a dream come true with lots of things to see and touch.”

“With the heat turning up, the beauty of having a summer Christmas is that a BBQ is on the menu for the family lunch. Everybody loves the smell of sausages on the coal, including the neighbours! After indulging on more food than the stomach can allow, we will start the gift exchanging and watch Banksii play with the gift wrap as oppose to the toys.”

“The one thing I love about Christmas growing up is how the silly season can lift every bodies spirits. No matter how busy everyone was, for that one day it brings in every aunt, uncle, cousin together for chatter and laughter. Going to bed with a satisfied stomach and a full heart was always a reminder on why I love Christmas.”
