We are incredibly saddened by the devastating bushfires our nation is currently experiencing.

Our company Hanes Australasia has pledged to provide at least $500,000 of support to those impacted. This will be made up of a minimum of $400,000 worth of product to be distributed via our partners GIVIT, the Salvation Army or directly to those in need, plus at least $100,000 in cash donations to be provided to various organisations focused on fire fighting and relief efforts.

We will do everything we can to support Australians in this time of great need.

We’ll also be accepting $2 donations online and in Bonds stores across the country until 29 February 2020 that will go directly to our partners at GIVIT to help fund the purchase of essential products required by those in need. Find your nearest Bonds store here.

We are also proud national partners of GIVIT – a not-for-profit organisation connecting those who have items to give, with those who need them. GIVIT are directly assisting with bushfire relief.

Their platform makes giving easy, allowing users to see exactly what is needed by vulnerable community members. Its virtual warehouse eliminates the need to store, sort and dispose of unwanted items, saving valuable time and resources.

We have been in regular contact with our partners at GIVIT to ascertain their product requirements and with huge involvement from our staff, have made various stock donations to date. We are willing and able to give more and will continue to channel our donations through GIVIT to support those in need – both during this terrible period of crisis, and as communities start to rebuild and recover.
