LE BLONDE FOX TEST DRIVES OUR HOME GROWN TEES
Posted in: people

Using some of her favourite trends and places as inspiration, Adriana Perri of Le Blonde Fox, recently styled up our new Home Grown™ Tees range, proving there is more than one way to wear a trusty T-shirt. (Spoiler alert: all it takes is a few added extras!)

LOOK ONE - 'NEW YORKER'

This outfit I teamed a white Scoop Tee with a checked blazer and my denim jeans. I feel this is a classic go-to outfit that you could wear from day to night. The Gucci belt takes city attitude to a whole 'New Yorker' level.

LOOK TWO - 'PARISIAN CHIC'

I've always felt inspired by how Parisian women dress. It's effortless, yet so put-together. The classic striped Crew Tee, pays homage to the Breton Stripe and goes perfectly with jeans and a tailored jacket.

LOOK THREE - 'HELLO SAILOR'

My double denim dream creation is teamed with a striped Boxy Tee in black with white. I think it's great to double denim it up on casual chic days, it's super matchy-matchy and I love it!

What’s your favourite tee shape and why?

The Scoop! The scooped neckline is really flattering. It shows just the right amount of collarbone, keeping it tastefully chic.

What’s your go-to everyday way to wear a tee?

With jeans! I love how you can put on your favourite jeans and tee half tucked in without a second thought and still look stylish.

How did you first get started in blogging?

I first started my blog as a hobby, I noticed there weren't many social platforms that had interviews with Australian fashion designers. I interviewed around 60 Australian based designers via Skype or over coffee. From there it just grew and, whilst at uni studying communication PR, I would incorporate everything I'd learn in created media. From there it branched out into a freelance content position for myself.

What is it about fashion and blogging that appeals to you so much?

Creating my own media. I love creating advertising and the fact I have my own platform without someone telling me how and what I should create for brands is what I love about it most.

How would you describe your personal style?

Grungy, cool, sometimes girly. It really depends on my mood, but I love mixing designer and everyday brands together.

What’s been a pinch-yourself moment so far in your blogging journey?

The whole thing. I've gotten to experience so many pinch-myself moments. Whether it's meeting the CEO of Christian Dior or an amazing Aussie designer, I've been able to experience trips interstate to work with brands, pitch my own ideas and also guest lecture at universities about social media.

How do you juggle blogging with studying?

In the beginning it was quite easy for me to juggle, but now I'm in my final semester I've noticed it has been a little tricky. Usually what I like to do is to create a list and set dates to specifically focus on my blog or uni work.

What tips can you offer to those looking to increase their social following?

- Create captivating content that you love to produce. - Comment, like and follow others you have an interest in. - Be different. - Love what you personally do, stop stressing about others, you can't please everyone!
