Isabel Simundic is no stranger to Bonds undies. As a big time Bonds bralette wearer, the former Australia's Next Top Model contestant was the perfect choice to star in our new Mash Up women's underwear campaign. We caught up with Izi to ask her ALL the questions, including the one thing people would be surprised to learn about her.

How do you like to express your individual style? 

Most of the time I’m in gym gear running between boxing classes, castings, and the library. So I like to take any moment outside of the daily grind to put my own spin on things. Before social media, you could put together a great outfit and not bump into anyone all day! (Devastating, ha ha!) These days you can document all your outfit success stories on Instagram.

What or who inspires your personal style?

In the digital age that we're in, the market has become so saturated with information and inspiration. So much so, that it can almost be un-motivating; because of this, I try not to put too much focus on what other people are doing or what’s happening around me. Instead, I like to base my style on what makes me feel good, and from places that inspire me. I like to think my style is most creative when I’m traveling; places like Italy are my favorite place to get dressed… think white linen dresses and lots of gold jewelry!

Describe what individuality means to you.

For me, individuality is more of a mental game; it’s all about turning your imperfections into the things that make you unique. Which of course is easier said than done.

What’s one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?

Two things. I can speak Croatian fluently and I can’t say the word Macadamia – it comes out maca-ma-damia. I’m not sure what went wrong there – ha ha!

When it comes to music/food/fashion what are some your favourite or unusual mash-ups?

My favourite food mash-up is from an organic café, called Orchard Street. I get two of the ‘tea-thyme cookies’ and smoosh a salted-caramel chocolate square in-between them. Seriously life changing stuff! You can thank me later ;)

What are your favourite Bonds undies styles?

I am in love with the Bonds bralettes; I wear them under everything. They are so pretty and delicate, yet outrageously comfy.

Are you a matchy-matchy or a clashy-clashy undies wearer?

Definitely a matchy-matchy kind of girl.

Snapchat or Instagram and why?

Instagram. I like that you wouldn’t just slap anything up, it’s more thought-out and creative.

What’s on your playlist right this minute?

I think I’ll have The Beatles album on repeat for the rest of my life.

What do you love to do most in your downtime?

Going home to see my dad, he lives two hours from Sydney – so it’s the perfect escape when I need a break.

From sunrise to sunset, describe your ideal day?

6am. Do the early morning boxing class (something I’m never up early enough for). 7am. Jump in the ocean. 8am. Go to Lox Stock and Barrel for breakfast. 10am. Take my roommate's puppy for a walk. His name is Stan, and he’s a Spoodle cocker spaniel cross poodle) no puppy is cuter, I promise. 12pm. Go to Icebergs pool and soak up the afternoon sunshine. 5pm. Meet my friends at Porch and Parlour for a sunset rosé.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Sarah Jessica-Parker, because I think we all lived our lives vicariously through Carrie Bradshaw.
