The Cult of Inka Williams
Posted in: people

"As far as models go, Inka Williams is smashing stereotypes," writes GRAZIA, who recently caught up with the stunning face of our Spring/Summer '18 New Era collection for women. Laid back is one of the regular descriptions that pops up with speaking about Inka. Perhaps it's because she was born in Melbourne and raised in Bali that, despite her one million (!!) Instagram followers, she keeps her feet firmly planted on the ground.

“Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe when someone stops me on the street and I’m like yeah what’s up,” she tells the magazine. “I guess all I’m trying to do is make other people see what’s more important things in life. Not just the materialistic things, but loving yourself. I want to be different and also do something good with my profile.”

Inka Williams for Grazia

Speaking about what it's been like to represent Bonds, Inka told GRAZIA: "It's so surreal. In Bali growing up there weren’t a lot of shops, so we would stock up on everything in Australia. Bonds is a brand me and my whole family all brought back and wore.”

Brimming with '90s-inspired throwback streetwear pieces - imagine scoop backs, colour blocking, bodysuits and high waists - the collection could not be more suited to the model's laidback style.

"I really like the exercise gear and the leggings. The whole range is so cool you can wear it out too," she added.
