Manual Rewards vs Automatic Rewards
Manual and Automatic are the two ways you can pick to receive your $5 rewards voucher.
Automatic: Earn 100 points and automatically receive a $5 rewards voucher. This is also the default setting at sign up. Manual Rewards: Bank your points and self-activate $5 reward vouchers when it suits you. This option is only available to members with an online Bonds Rewards account on bonds.com.au.
The Automatic Rewards method is the default setting at sign up for all members.
If you're a member with an online account on bonds.com.au, you'll be able to change your preference to Manual using the steps listed in the next question.
You can only do this online in 'My Account' here.
Log in, click on 'Points' in the side menu bar and you'll see these 2 options first thing.
Select the 'Bank Points' option and you'll be on the Manual method shortly after.
Note: Once Manual is selected, it can't be changed for 24 hours. This option is only available to members with an online Bonds Rewards account on our Australian website.
For members on 'Automatic Rewards' method, you'll get a $5 reward voucher once you hit 100 points in your account. You'll get an email notification each time and the voucher will appear in your account within approx. 15 minutes.
For members on 'Manual Rewards' method, your $5 reward voucher will be available instantly after you self-activate any 100 points in your online account. You'll also get an email notification anytime you activate a rewards voucher.
If you choose the 'Automatic Rewards' method, yes. Once you hit 100 points, a $5 reward voucher will automatically be added to your account.
You'll be sent an email notification for each $5 reward voucher so make sure you're subscribed to stay in the loop. Vouchers typically appear in your account within approx. 15 minutes of the email reaching your inbox.
Yes, you can activate a $5 Bonds Bucks reward voucher for every 100 points banked in your account. So if you've got 500 points, you have the option to activate 5 vouchers at once, or just 1.
Points expire 24 months after they're issued, so don't wait too long to turn them into vouchers!
If you only have an in store account, you'll stay within the Automatic Rewards method. You can only opt into the Manual Rewards method when your online account is activated on our Australian website.
