Gang, as the COVID-19 situation continues to change, so too do we. Thanks so much for bearing with us as we navigate this bumpy road together. Here are the latest updates:
TAS Stores:
Bonds Stores in Tasmania have reopened. The Tasmanian government has announced a mask mandate to be worn in all indoor settings outside of the home until further notice.
ACT Stores:
The ACT Government have eased restrictions. Bonds Stores are now open and will be operating at reduced hours so be sure to check our store finder here.
QLD Stores:
The QLD Government has announced the easing of restrictions from 6pm Friday 4 March. Masks will no longer be required indoors.
NSW Stores:
Upon entry into NSW Bonds stores, you will be required to display your vaccination. Masks are no longer mandatory, however the NSW Government strongly encourages wearing them when you cannot maintain a safe distance from others.
NT Stores:
The NT Government has announced the easing of restrictions from Monday 7 March. Masks will no longer be required indoors.
SA Stores:
The SA Government has re-instated the mask mandate for all indoor public spaces, including retail settings.
VIC Stores:
All Bonds stores in Victoria are now open. The Victorian Government have eased restrictions and it is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask in retail spaces.
WA Stores:
Masks must be worn indoors for Perth and Peel regions until further advised.
New Zealand Stores:
All New Zealand Bonds Stores are now open.
New safety measures for stores:
To keep everyone healthy and happy we’d love it if you:
- 👫 Took note of the max people allowed in store.
- 😷 Wear a face mask at all times.
- 🤧 Didn’t pop in if you’re unwell or have been around someone with COVID-19.
- 🚿 Washed your mitts before and after seeing us. (FYI - sanitiser will also be available).
- 🙅 Kept 1.5 metres away, because social distancing.
- 💳 Used contactless pay.
We’ll also be keeping our distance (give us a wave!) and upping our cleaning game on all fronts.

- When do Bonds Stores reopen in NSW?

Bonds, Bonds Kids and Bonds Outlet stores reopen in New South Wales on Monday 11th October. Our stores will be operating under reduced hours so please make sure you check your nearest store for details.
- Why do I need to show my vaccination passport when entering a Bonds Store in NSW?

In accordance with the NSW Government you must display your vaccination passport upon entry to retail stores in NSW and this includes Bonds. It is in place to keep you and our team safe.
- Why is my local NSW Bonds Stores closed or operating at reduced hours?

To ensure your safety and the safety of our team they are regularly cleaning our stores which is why your store may be closed, also as a result of COVID-19 the team will be managing a large amount of deliveries over the first few weeks of trading. We appreciate your patience.
- How can I be sure I’ll be safe while visiting one of your stores?

We care about your wellbeing and that of our staff, which is why we've been busy developing plans to keep everyone happy and healthy. Some of the new safety measures we've actioned include:
- Wearing a face mask at all times.
- Displaying your vaccination passport upon entry (NSW)
- Allowing a maximum number of people inside at any given time.
- Increasing cleaning of all areas and extra hygiene practises.
- Offering hand sanitiser to customers in store.
- Ensuring a 1.5 metre distance from each other.
- Providing contactless payment methods.
If you have any questions or concerns, please ask one of our friendly staff in store or contact our Customer Service team, who'll be more than happy to help. - What about hygiene within your changing rooms, have you made any changes there?

For the safety of you and our staff, our bra fitting service is currently contactless. Our changing rooms are being regularly cleaned and our team is keeping their distance and upping their hand washing to ensure these areas are sanitised. We also kindly ask that you wash your hands before and after visiting us (sanitiser is available in store) to help protect our community.
- What if I have to return something in store?

You can return products in store with our newly extended 60 days returns policy. We accept returns on products that have a receipt and are in new condition with tags still attached. All returned products will be placed in our store room for a period of time to determine when they are safe to return to the store floor.
- What if I am unable to pay using a contactless method?

In this case, we'd love it if you could insert, rather than tap, your bank card if payment via contactless or payWave isn't possible. We currently cannot accept cash payments of any type, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Who can I contact if I have any concerns about visiting one of your stores?

- Why are limited Bonds fitting rooms open?

We have limited fitting rooms open while our teams get settled back into store and work through the new cleaning and safety protocols. We’ll be regularly updating this page as fitting rooms reopen. The good news is we have extended our returns policy to 60 days, so if at home you try it on and it’s not right, you will have plenty of time to come back in for a refund or exchange.
- What is contactless bra fitting?

For the safety of you and our team, our bra fitting service is currently contactless. A contactless fitting is where our team will still be able to assist with additional sizes and talk you through the fit, but this will be through the fitting room door to ensure you and our team are a safe distance and have no contact.

How can masks help slow the spread of viruses?
Masks can help slow the spread of viruses by providing barrier protection. They can assist in protecting you by providing a barrier to reduce the chance of germs coming in contact with your mouth or nose and can assist in protecting others by providing a barrier if you cough or sneeze.What does X-Temp do?
The inner layer of the mask is treated with X-Temp which supports heating and cooling regulation to keep you comfy while wearing the mask.How do the Bonds HEIQ Viroblock Face Masks Work?
Viroblock has been added to the outside layer of the mask to enhance the filtration performance of the mask i.e. to help increase the barrier protection.What else do you use X-Temp on?
We have a number of other products available which use the X-Temp treatment. These include some of our men’s and children’s underwear and socks and our baby Wondercool range.What is the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods?
It is a register of therapeutic goods that can lawfully be sold in Australia. The register is maintained by the TGA.What is the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)?
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is Australia's regulatory authority for therapeutic goods and is part of the Federal Department of Health.Can I get COVID-19 or the flu while wearing the mask?
A mask is one element to help reduce the risk of becoming infected and of spreading infections, it does not guarantee protection for the wearer. Other measures include following social distancing guidelines and regular hand washing. It is always best you follow all government health recommendations.I like the inside colour of the mask better than the black, can I reverse it?
The mask is purposely designed to have different treatments on different sides – comfort treatment on the coloured side which sits next to your skin to support temperature regulation and the other side is treated to increase barriers to the outside. So, no you can’t reverse it.Do the chemical treatments cause irritation, I have sensitive skin?
The treatments have been tested for skin contact so should not cause any irritation. However, if you do experience any irritation you should stop using the mask.Can I keep wearing the mask after the 20 washes?
You can still wear it but the treatments on the mask are not supported after the 20 washes. For comfort and protection, it is recommended the mask is replaced once it reached 20 wash cycles.I only have one mask – Can I put it in the dryer so it dries quicker?
Recommended care instructions are on the garment and should be followed so that the treatments on the mask last as long as possible. Recommended care instructions include do not tumble dry.Can I wash it with other items or does it need to be washed on its own?
Follow the wash instructions on the care label – no need to wash it on its own.Is there a particular washing detergent that I need to use?

Generally the mask will fit a 12+ years but as head sizes vary it will be on a case by case basis. We are developing a smaller sized mask which will be available at a later date.How does this 2 layer mask differ from government recommended 3 layer masks?
Protection levels in a mask differ based on the brand, quality and which fabrics are used. During our own wearer trials, we found that a 3-layer mask was too thick and made it difficult for breathability. This often resulted in people touching the mask to adjust it or removing it if they had trouble breathing. The Bonds 2-layer mask has been tested and passes the breathability test for face masks, and the outer layer has been treated with HeiQ Viroblock to enhance the filtration performance by increasing barrier protection.Do you have masks for Kids?
We are developing a smaller sized mask to fit a child 5+ years which will be available at a later date. It is not recommended for children under 5 to wear a face mask.Do they have a wire over the nose?

P2 and N95 masks are designed for specific medical situations and a different medical classification from our mask. Our Bonds Cotton Face mask is not intended to be used in surgical or examination situations and therefore has not been tested to meet P2/N95 standards. P2 and N95 masks should be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders.Can I get COVID-19 or the flu while wearing the mask?

Each country has its own regulatory system to deal with therapeutic goods such as masks. Most countries also have special regulations in place during Covid-19. There can be penalties for breaching country requirements.I have noticed this is made in China, what measures have been put in place to ensure the safety?
Our team who manufacture the masks have their temperatures checked before commencing work and are supplied with hand sanitizer, masks and gloves.Can we return the masks if they do not fit?
Masks are non-returnable, unless faulty.Do you have masks for Kids?
We do, we are currently awaiting the delivery of the small masks, our masks fit a child 5+ yrs, it is not recommended for children under 5 to wear a face mask.Do they have a wire over the nose?
